Returns & Exchanges
We hope you love your new items from OCEANISTA. But if for some reason your order isn’t just right, we have a simple, no-hassle exchange and return policy. If the item is unused, unworn, unwashed, with original tags/packaging, and within 15 days of delivery, return it to us for an exchange or refund. We do not accept exchanges or returns if it has been more than 15 days from the time of delivery.
Please contact us at customercare@oceanista.com for a return authorization number and to ensure that it is not a sale item and falls within our Return Policy. You must write this number on the outside of the box in order for your return to be accepted. After 15 days, all sales are final. Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds/credits for shipping and handling charges for returns over 15 days.
OCEANISTA asks that merchandise be returned in its original condition meaning that the merchandise is unworn, unused, unwashed, and in original packaging and that you include a copy of the invoice or packing slip with your reason for return.
Items returned without a return authorization number, past 15 days, or not in original condition will be returned to customer at the customer's expense.
We are not responsible for shrinkage or bleeding as a result of washing your item(s).
OCEANISTA Trading Company LLC, in accordance with FEDERAL LAW, cannot accept returns for any worn swimwear. Returned or exchanged items must be returned in their original condition, and will be inspected upon receipt. Any worn swimwear will be returned to the customer, and refunds/exchanges will not be processed.
The following items are not refundable/returnable/exchangeable under any circumstances: Subscription Boxes, One-Time Boxes, Mystery Boxes, Limited Edition Boxes, Beach Bundles, Mini Curated Boxes, Discounted & Sale Items, Final Sale Items, BOGO Sale items, Holiday items & Personalized Items.
Shipping charges incurred for apparel size exchanges will be billed to customer who placed the original order unless otherwise specified. Credits to credit cards take approximately two weeks to process from the time the return is received and processed.
Canceled or modified orders must be done as soon as possible. Email your request to customercare@oceanista.com and we will do everything we can to assist you. If the order has been shipped we will not be able to cancel or modify the order, it would then be the customer's responsibility to send the package back to OCEANISTA and the original return/exchange policy will be applied.
Exchanged items along with orders that use a store credit are not eligible for free shipping.
OCEANISTA will not be held liable for any additional import taxes, duties, and/or customs fees incurred at the time of entry.
Unfortunately due to our intricate curation process, subscription boxes and other curated box collections are not refundable/returnable/exchangeable under any circumstances.
This includes, but not limited to, one-time boxes, mystery boxes, beach bundles (build-a-beach-box), limited edition boxes, mini curated boxes.

Sand Dollar Rewards® points will appear in your account 30 days after your order is fullfilled and you can begin using them as soon as you've reached 500 reward points!

Subscription Box
There are 4 subscription plans available for you to choose from:
• Seasonal (1 box each quarter) - $99/box
• Two Seasonal Gift Subscription (1 box each quarter without auto renewal) - $95/box
• Annual Subscription (4 boxes each year/1 box each quarter) - $89/box
• Annual Gift Subscription (4 boxes per year without auto-renewal) - $90/box
Subscriptions auto-renew according to your plan at the end of the subscription cycle. You can skip or cancel anytime before your renewal date to not renew.
For annual subscriptions, you can cancel anytime, however you will still receive the remaining boxes from your prepaid quarterly subscriptions and then your subscription will end.
For example, if you choose an annual subscription at checkout and want to cancel after the 3rd quarterly box, you will still receive your 4th prepaid box. After your 4th and final box, you will not be rebilled and your subscription will end. You can also purchase a one-time annual gift subscription that does not auto-renew! With this option, there's no need to log into your account to cancel as gift subscriptions auto-expire!
When available, we offer discounts on your first Seasonal Subscription box only. There are no discounts for pre-paid subscription plans as these plans are already discounted.

As an Oceanista Seasonal or Annual Subscriber, all members have access to 25% OFF in our Beach Boutique at any time! Use Promo Code: MEMBERSONLY25 to receive your discount at check-out. This code is automatically attached to your email address and only good on Active Subscriptions and in our Beach Boutique.
Promo code is null on skipped or paused subscribers and not valid on other boxes, beach bundles, or subscriptions.

Subscribing to the Oceanista® subscription box is simple.
Make a selection; Seasonal, Seasonal Gift, Annual, or Annual Gift Subscription and you will then be sent to the product page where you will choose your sizing preferences.
After making your sizing selections, click the button 'ADD TO CART' and you will be shown a pop-up drawer of your cart selections. From there you can navigate to the bottom where it says 'CHECK OUT.' Click the button and the check out page will appear and fill in your billing information and where you would like your box shipped. Promo codes are added on this page as well.
Please note: If you want your subscription box shipped to different addresses as gifts, it is best to order them one at a time.
Automatically save $40.00 when you subscribe to our Annual Subscription Plan!
Once you enter your payment details you will receive your box every season (4x per year) and you will be placed into our current member subscriber rotation. Keep in mind if you subscribe mid-season, you will receive our current box and a renewal order may populate within a few weeks when pre-orders begin for the upcoming season. You will never be billed twice before receiving your first box.
Oceanista is a seasonal subscription box that curates four boxes per year (one each quarter). For new members, boxes ship within 3-5 business days of signing up unless we have switched over to pre-orders for next season's upcoming box (check our subscription box page to see the box status).
Boxes begin shipping:
• Spring - March - delayed
• Summer - June
• Fall - September
• Winter - December
Absolutely! To purchase a subscription plan that does not auto-renew, simply visit our Gift Subscription Page. Gift subscriptions automatically expire at the end of their subscription period and does not auto renew. There is no need to cancel!
Additionally, there are mystery and past boxes available from our one-time store, One-Time Oceanista Boxes that never renew!
We ship Oceanista boxes between the 10th - 15th of each quarter (March, June, September, and December).
Once we receive your customizations, your first box typically ships within 3-5 business days of placing an order unless we are in the pre-order phase for the next seasonal box.
If located in the United States you should receive your box within 3-10 business days from the time you receive your tracking number.
If you're in a hurry, check out our Mystery Boxes or Past Boxes from our one time box collection that ships immediately!
If you need to skip or cancel your subscription you may do so at any time by logging into your account and clicking "Manage Subscription" and clicking either "skip" or "cancel" subscription at the bottom of the page.
Please ensure you opt to skip a season BEFORE the next auto-renewal date of each quarter if you wish to skip the next box. Quarterly auto-renewal months are February, May, August, and November and we will email or text you (if you are opt-in to SMS) several days in advance to let you know your subscription is about to renew.
Please note, if you have already been billed for the upcoming season or annually, or if you have prepaid ahead, you will still receive your final shipment(s) however, you will not be billed any further.
Remember, you can also skip a season at anytime and we will rotate you back into our seasonal schedule at your convenience. Skipping a season is unavailable to pre-paid annual or gift annual members.
Skipping or pausing a season may cause grandfathered-in pricing to update to our latest membership pricing.
You can reactivate your subscription at any time by logging into your Account. Simply click 'Manage Subscription' once you are logged in and click 'Add A Product'.
You can also email us at hello@oceanista.com and we would be happy to reactivate for you - Your card will be charged at midnight upon reactivation of your subscription.
Customization emails and/or SMS customization messages will be sent within 3-5 days of ordering, unless our current box is sold out and we are preparing for the next seasons launch. (For example, if you order your box on August 15th, customization emails will be sent on or around September 1st.) Please be sure you are opt-in to our Concierge SMS Service in order to receive customization text messages to your phone. In addition, Oceanista is not authorized to send customization emails or to members who are not subscribed to our email list or newsletter.
For the upcoming season, we email a customization link to VIP annual members first, followed by VIP seasonal members, and so on.
If we don't receive your customization after 3 emails and/or SMS attempts, our team will customize your box for you and process your shipment.
Please be sure to open up and check our emails for the link to customize your box.
Duplicate and multiple customizations are placed on hold so that we may contact you regarding this error. We try to place some items that you've customized to the side for you, however we cannot guarantee your selections will be available. Please ensure that you do not submit multiple customizations. This causes our family a lot of confusion and isn't easily resolved. Every member will receive a confirmation email with a list of their choices immediately after submittal.
Sorry, it's a surprise! However, we post 2-3 spoilers to our social media channels for each box. Be sure to stay updated onInstagramorFacebookto see what will be inside the next box! You can also join our Private Facebook page -The Oceanista Beach Club- where we post upcoming spoilers and create surveys for ideas on what you'd like to see in your next box.
If your sizing preferences have changed, simply click here to update your sizes and you will be redirected to our Profile Information page to make the necessary changes. Once updated, you will receive a confirmation email with your updated sizes.
Unfortunately, the contents of our boxes are purchased ahead of time and we are unable to replace the item with something else. If you see a spoiler you don't like on social media, you can always skip your next box renewal. An item you don't love could also make a wonderful gift! Simply shoot us an email at hello@oceanista.com with photo evidence and we'll send out a replacement to you.
Oceanista provides a one-time free exchange on the apparel item (only) in your box, however we do not cover the cost of shipping the item back to us in order to process the exchange. We do not make exchanges for clothing items that are One Size Fits Most (OSFM).
Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your box. Oceanista asks that the clothing item be returned in its original condition meaning that it is unworn, unused, unwashed, and complete with hangtags and in original packaging.
Subsequent exchanges on apparel items in your box cost $7.00 to cover the cost of shipping one-way. Please email us at hello@oceanista.com if you need to exchange your clothing item for a different size and we will provide you with the address to ship your item for the exchange.
Oceanista is not responsible for untraceable or a lost return/exchange item. We recommend using a shipping service with tracking to protect your return/exchange item.
You can update your address by logging into your account, or emailing us at hello@oceanista.com.
Please note: Changing your shipping address once your subscription box order has populated does NOT change your shipping address for that order. In this case, you will need to email us at hello@oceanista.com immediately or send us a message through chat to change your address. Please make sure you receive a confirmation email from us that your address has been changed for the subscription box order that has populated and keep this as a receipt in case we need to reference back to it.
Oceanista is not responsible for shipments lost due to incorrect addresses. If a box is returned to us due to an invalid address, a reshipping and handling fee of $8.95 will be charged to reship the package.
Oceanista is not responsible for lost/stolen packages once marked as delivered by USPS/UPS or inaccurate addresses entered by the buyer. Please ensure there is a secure location for you to receive packages, or request boxes to be held at your local post office or by a friendly neighbor for pick up to ensure safe delivery.
Please note: Changing your shipping address in your account AFTER your subscription box order has populated does not change your shipping address for that order. In this case, you will need to email us at hello@oceanista.com immediately to change your address on that order. Please make sure you receive a confirmation email from us that your address has been changed.
Unfortunately subscription boxes are final sale items and do not qualify for returns. We suggest gifting your items to a loved one as most of our items are suitable for regifting!

Subscription boxes ship for a flat rate of only $8.95 U.S.
One-time boxes ship for a flat rate of $10.95 U.S.
Please note: Oceanista subsidizes shipping costs for our members and most boxes cost an average of $14.50 to ship within the Continental U.S. and as much as $19.50 to Alaska and Hawaii. Please be sure your address is updated in your account prior to your box populating an order and shipping.
Oceanista is not responsible for shipments lost due to incorrect addresses. If a box is returned to us due to an invalid address, a reshipping and handling fee of $8.95 will be charged to reship the package.

Any items or subscription boxes returned due to unpaid taxes, duties, and/or customs fees will not be reshipped and no refund will be processed on your products or subscription.
Oceanista® reserves the right to cancel subscriptions.
If you ordered more than one item, your items may arrive in separate shipments if they are produced by different manufacturers.
