Subscription Box

Subscribing to the Oceanista® subscription box is simple. Once you're on the Home page, scroll down to see our Subscription Box Options. Make a selection; Seasonal, Annual, or Gift Annual Subscription. and you will then be sent to the product page where you will customize your box by telling us your skin type and sizes. After making your selections, click the button to complete your order and you will be sent to your Shopping Cart where you can confirm all of your information. Click on the Check Out button and fill in your billing information and where you would like your box shipped.

Automatically save $20.00 when you subscribe to our Annual Subscription Plan! Once you enter your payment details you will receive your box every season (4x per year) and you will automatically be placed into our current members subscriber rotation.

Due to our boutique-style customization and curation process, along with the availability of handmade products we find from artisans every season, we bill our customers 30 days in advance. This gives us the exact idea of the number of customized items and crafts we order from our vendors. This is NOT an easy process and we appreciate your patience while we curation your Oceanista® box!

Our subscription box billing and shipping schedule is as follows:

Spring Box [ MAR | APR | MAY ]

    Auto-Billing on February 1st
  • Auto-Ships on or around March 1st

Summer Box [ JUN | JUL | AUG ]

    Auto-Billing on May 1st
  • Auto-Ships on or around June 1st

Fall Box [ SEP | OCT | NOV ]

    Auto-Billing on August 1st
  • Auto-Ships on or around September 1st
    *Fall 2019 - Box shipment delayed to 9/15/19.

Winter Box [ DEC | JAN | FEB ]

    Auto-Billing on November 1st
  • Auto-Ships on or around December 1st
  • Order by December 5th for Christmas delivery*

Existing customers are auto-billed FEB 1st, MAY 1st, AUG 1st, NOV 1st.

New subscribers are billed the day they sign up and will automatically be placed into our current subscriber shipping and billing cycle. Boxes are shipped within 2 weeks of ordering or on the date stated “Auto-ship” every season and you will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your box ships. You will never be billed twice before receiving your first box!

Example 1: If you Subscribe/Order our Box on September 10th, 10 days after our scheduled Auto-Bill date of Sept. 1st, you would receive the most current box which would be the Fall Box. You would be placed in Subscription membership rotation. Second auto-billing would incur on Nov.1st, and your second box would auto-ship Dec. 1st.

Exception to this scenario would be 1) If our current box is Sold Out - New Subscriber is automatically pulled into the Winter season rotation and receives the Winter Box, or 2) You don't want the Fall Box and you shoot us an email letting us know!

Example 2: Subscribe on April 2nd and you will be scheduled to receive the Spring Box. Please note: Subscriptions Boxes are always limited in quantities and availability. If supplies are out, you would be notified and scheduled to receive our Summer Box which would ship on or around June 1st, unless other special arrangements have been made.

You can expect to receive 5-8 hand-picked beach-inspired essentials such as apparel, jewelry, exclusively designed artisan pieces, beauty products, flip flops, mermaid swag, Oceanista® exclusives, and other surprise items in every box.


Annual Subscribers may receive mid-season surprises and extra bonus items in their box!

Simply shoot us an email at customercare@oceanista.com with a photo and we'll send out a replacement to you.

Once you are on the Home page, click the box that says "Gift an Annual Subscription". You will then be sent to our customization page where you will need your gift recipients sizes and skin type. Once you complete the questionnaire, you will be sent to Step 3; "Complete my Subscription." Click the button and complete your order by filling in your billing information and where you would like your gift shipped. You will only be billed one time and the gift recipient will receive a box every season for one full year (4 boxes total). Annual Gift Subscriptions are curated just like our main subscription program with a customizable gift note in the first box, and no two boxes will ever be alike!

Simply login to your account by going on "Manage Subscription" at the top right corner of our website. Mobile users can click on the tab button and select "Manage Subscription." Click on the "Pause" or "Skip" shipment button and your next box will automatically pause or skip a season. Keep in mind, if you unpause your subscription, your next box will automatically populate for the following season.

We're sorry to see you go but if you need to cancel your subscription you may do so at any time by clicking "Manage Subscription" and clicking cancel subscription. Please note, if you have already been billed for the season or annually, or if you have prepaid ahead, you will still receive your final shipment(s) however, you will not be billed any further. Remember, you can also pause or skip a season at anytime and we will rotate you back into our schedule at your convenience.

Shipping is always FREE for orders over $100.00.* Subscription boxes ship for a flat rate of only $6.95 U.S., $16.95 Canada, and $24.95 International. Choose your shipping preferences at check-out for the most up-to-date shipping rates when shopping our Beach Boutique!

Oceanista® and Oceanista® Jewelry will not be held liable for any additional import taxes, duties, and/or customs fees incurred at the time of entry. Any items or subscription boxes returned due to unpaid taxes, duties, and/or customs fees will not be reshipped and no refund will be processed on your products or subscription.

Oceansita® and Oceanista® Jewelry reserves the right to cancel subscriptions.

If you need to skip or pause a season or make changes to your subscription, simply login to your customer account at any time by clicking "Manage Subscription". Once there, you can make changes to your shipping address, credit card info, pause or skip a season and more. If you require assistance, please feel free to contact our customer care team at customercare@oceanista.com and we will be happy to assist you!

If your customization options have changed, simply shoot us an email at VIP@oceanista.com. We will update your personalized file (Mermaids 🧜🏼‍♀️keep them in their treasure chest), and we will confirm the update with you prior to shipping out your next box!

Many of our products from our Boutique Shop sometimes ships directly from the manufacturer and many items are custom made when you place your order. For this reason, our shipping times can vary. Please allow 7-21 days for shipping. Many items can and do arrive much earlier than that, but please do not be alarmed if it takes the full 21 days.

If you ordered more than one item, your items may arrive in separate shipments if they are produced by different manufacturers.

You can begin using your Sand Dollars® as soon as you've reached 500 reward points! Or stash them up for as much as $100 in rewards! Simply log in to your Account and you will be able to keep track and spend your Sand Dollars® any way you choose!

Oceanista's love cleaning up the beaches and we need your help! Clean Coasts is a program that we've started to get others involved with beach clean up by utilizing our 100% recyclable box in doing so. Posting your Oceanista box full of debris items on the beach helps our initiative go viral and best of all you have the option of receiving a free gift in your next box or we will donate a portion of our proceeds from your box to the Ocean Institute on your behalf! We are excited about this initiative and hope you and many others will get involved!

The Golden Anchor Program™ is the chance for subscribers of our seasonal subscription box to win a FREE piece of jewelry or beach item!
